Did You Know Any "Gay" Jehovah's Witnesses?
by minimus ini suspect a few witnesses were not "straight" but didn't act on their sexual preferences.. i knew one up and coming bethelite who was approached by the bethel heavies and talked to about his "effeminate mannerisms" and was pretty much told that he could become a more prominent menmber of the bethel family if he "became more masculine looking" and preferably found a bethel sister to marry.
he followed the counsel and was thereafter a regular designated bethel speaker at district conventions.
interestingly, all of his bethel buddies thought the whole scenario was a hoot, knowing that he was really an effeminate man suddenly now looking very hetero..

Growing up a Jehovah's Witness
by jwfacts ingrowing up a jw makes a person unique, long after you leave.
even though i strongly disagree with much of what i was taught, i still am tainted by my upbringing in that i think a thought and then correct myself with what i now should think (or visa versa, think something and then remember what i once would have thought).. even now that i am far removed from watchtower thinking, i still feel somewhat of an alien from those around me.
though i am loved at work, i feel they laugh at me more than they laugh with me.. for some time now, i have been meaning to chronograph the concepts that a witness child is indocrinated with to show just how damaging an upbringing it is.

well, i fell catholics are untrue xtians cos of the tradition and similarity to the witnesses. that cos of my upbringing?
not too sure how anyone can base what they do on the bible, like the statues/saints and the transubstatiation. them literally thinking they eat jesus yet apparently hating cannibalism makes the doctrine hypocritical. one general xtian thing is where's the basis of the 'god in flest' concept? seems like an assumption to me. even if i'm a trin-believing atheist. there are GOOD parts of catholics, they apologised for the paedophilia. witenesses never have! they pretend it never happens!! and ccatholics are allowed to go to college and think. i bet the witnesses see the rocket boys in 'october sky' as evil cos they went to college and encourage college education as a way to siccess that it is. i wish i went to college. but i'm too old now imho. and i'm unemployed.

Reject Worldly Fantasies, Pursue Kingdumb Realities?
by WTWizard inaccording to the feb 2009 kingdumb misery, this is the title of the new hounder-hounder talks for public talks starting march 1. now, i can only imagine worldly fantasies include having a family, a reasonable measure of health and security, and being able to live a decent life.
kingdumb reality means throwing your life away out in field circus, attending boasting sessions, dutifully studying washtowel publications every tuesday all evening, and dying stagnant and having produced zero value in your own life.

and don't forget college! they see geting a good education and a well-paid job as 'worldly fantasy' too. eve when i was in i never 100% agreed with them. i hated that one hounder said mrriage is bad and pioneering is better! UGH!

homerovah, their techniques for siezing the citizenry for watchtower slaves is rather devious. like attacking old ladies. they're too weak in the faith to try to convert a catholic priest. have they tried converting the pope or a world leader? who knocks on the doors of the kremlin or the whitehouse or the parliment? hmm...
